Week 7 matches are about to kick off in a few hours starting with the Dplus KIA vs KT Rolsters match!

Some of the Key Matches to look out for:

Match 61: DK vs KT

Match 66: HLE vs T1

Match 67: GEN.G vs KT

 

Match 61: DK vs KT

KT Rolsters is on a strong 10-match winning streak, so many fans and analysts are predicting a KT win. As KT Rolsters has a pretty comfortable W-L gap over DPlus KIA, their league standings will not change regardless of the match outcome.

However, DPlus KIA will surely want to win the starter match as the W-L gap between DPlus KIA, Hanhwa Life, and T1 is not big. Dplus KIA needs to win this first match of the week to build a bigger gap over the teams chasing them.

 

Match 66: HLE vs T1

Many are expecting that T1’s mid-laner, Faker, will be returning to the starting roster after recovering from his wrist injury. DK, HLE, and T1 are fighting for a better spot to begin the Playoffs Round 1. If HLE wins against LSB in Match 62, T1 needs to win Match 66 against HLE in order to at least tie in W-L or step up to Rank 4 depending on how the game points work out.

 

Match 67: Gen.G vs KT

The Saturday Showdown match of the week, and it is expected to be a GOOD one. If KT and Gen.G both win against their opponents in Match 61 and Match 63, this likely will be the only chance KT has in this round to step up to 1st place without relying on other match outcomes - though this scenario will also depend on how the game points work out for both teams. It will be an interesting match to watch!
